At Poles Patisserie, Pink Up is close to our hearts. Every October, our team, customers and generous local businesses come together to bake, decorate, donate and make a difference. In 2026, we’re proudly supporting Pink Up Penrith, with funds going towards the McGrath Foundation. 🎀

7 Cancer Care nurses at Nepean Hospital
Pink Up Penrith reports that our community’s fundraising efforts have helped support the appointment of seven Cancer Care nurses at Nepean Hospital. Its 2026 campaign aims to help maintain that care for people diagnosed with cancer and their families.
For our neighbours, friends and loved ones, having specialist support nearby matters. Your donation helps support the work behind that care.
Why we support the McGrath Foundation 🩷
Inspired by Jane McGrath’s experience of having a breast care nurse, the McGrath Foundation began in 2005. Today, it is growing its specialist nursing support across cancer types, building on its work in breast cancer care.
McGrath Cancer Care Nurses help people understand their care and provide clinical, practical and emotional support from diagnosis and throughout treatment. Their support is free, thanks to community generosity and government support.
The Foundation’s nurse information page currently lists 430 McGrath Cancer Care Nurses across Australia. Every fundraiser helps support its purpose: ensuring people experiencing cancer can access the nursing care they need.

Pink Up with Poles: what’s happening in 2026 🎀
This October, we’re bringing our community together with raffle prizes, five vintage cake decorating classes, a whole week of kids’ cupcake decorating and pink treats in the shop. Pick your favourite way to join in — or make a donation right here!
🎟️ Our Pink Up Penrith raffle
A small ticket could lead to something pretty special! Our raffle includes a wedding package valued at $6,750, a pie and drink every day for a year, original artwork, a tradie package and more generous prizes from local businesses.

🎟️ A little ticket. A whole lot of heart.
Choose your tickets and help us make a difference:
We’re printing 1,000 raffle tickets! If every ticket sells individually at $5, ticket sales could bring in $5,000 towards our $20,000 Pink Up fundraising goal — a quarter of the goal from the raffle alone. The total raised will depend on the mix of individual tickets and bundles sold.
Ask our team in store to purchase your tickets. Online donations do not include raffle entry.
🎂 Five vintage cake decorating classes
Spend an evening decorating your own 6-inch heart-shaped vintage cake with the Poles team. We provide the pre-baked cake, tools and decorations — you bring your creativity and take your beautiful cake home!
October dates: Friday 2, Wednesday 7, Monday 12, Tuesday 20 and Friday 30 October 2026.
Time: 5:30pm–8:00pm
Location: Poles Patisserie Kitchen, Penrith
Tickets: $150 per person
Places: Maximum 12 per class
Ages: 15 years and over
This is a friendly decorating workshop with pre-baked cakes. All money raised goes to Pink Up Penrith, supporting the McGrath Foundation.
🧁 Kids’ cupcake decorating — seven days of fun!
Little decorators, this one’s for you! Come along, get creative and decorate a cupcake for a great cause. With icing, sprinkles, decorating supplies and a takeaway box, it’s a sweet way to join our Pink Up celebrations.
Dates: Monday 5–Sunday 11 October 2026
Time: 9am–2pm daily
Donation: $10 per person
Attendance: Walk in only — no online booking
Availability: 200 cupcakes each day
100% of every $10 donation goes to the McGrath Foundation through Pink Up Penrith. Visit us in person to participate, while the day’s cupcakes are available.

Our shop is joining in the pink fun too! Pop into Poles Patisserie at Nepean Village throughout October to discover our Pink Up treats and ask the team about the fundraising items available that day.
